My mother has been experiencing dizziness for over a year. A neurologist referred her to a PT clinic specializing in vertigo in July, they ruled out BPPV, suggesting it had resolved on its own and didn't examine her further. By November, she felt dizzy again, particularly when bending down to leash my dog.
I consulted Gabriel, who came to our home. After examining her and attempting the Epley maneuver, he determined it wasn't BPPV. Gabriel, who speaks Spanish, was able to discuss her medical history, including a slipped disc from shoveling snow 20 years ago in my mother's native language of Spanish, which was extremely helpful. Though no longer in pain, her vertigo stemmed from her neck. Gabriel identified the issue and provided three daily exercises, emailing instructions with pictures.
After just a week, she’s already feeling much better, significantly improving her quality of life. I’m incredibly grateful!
